From memorable experiences with cousins and friends to Krish's milestones and developments, this was too big to pass up!
I had to blog about our year in San Francisco!

Our Little Baby Krishna

On several occasions after Krish turned four months, we noticed him pull his little toe into his mouth!  Babies are so flexible, and it is the cutest sight you could ever see!  Dada told us it reminded him of Baby Krishna, and he's right!  We found a perfect picture of Baby Krishna doing the exact same thing. We definitely chose the right name for our little boy. :)

Napa Valley - July 31, 2010

One of the first trips we took as a family after moving to San Francisco was to Napa Valley for Roshan Kaka's Birthday.  Krish was not even six months old at this time.  The trip was amazing: great food, beautiful vineyards and scenery, perfect weather, and excellent company.  We toured Peju Winery and had some delicious, sweet treats at a famous French bakery called Bouchon.
Krish was an angel throughout the trip, and we all enjoyed a wonderful family outing on a beautiful California day!

Better Late Than Never!

It may seem like this was ages ago, so what's the point now?  However, the year we lived in San Francisco is so special and memorable to us, that we could not resist the opportunity to document our experiences there.  It is the one place Neil and I have always wanted to live in the U.S., and it is where our son, Krish, grew from an infant to a toddler in his first year-and-a-half of life.  Thanks to our cousins, Vivek and Krishna, (who inspired us to share in their experiences there) and Neil's Fellowship offer, our dreams came true for a whole year!  Of course, we wished it was longer, but it's better than nothing!  Now, all we can do is talk about moving back one day when we're retired!

I had actually started my original blog in San Francisco, but since I stopped blogging sometime in the middle of our time there, I will just pick up where I left off and post about as much as I can.
